Chicken Rice Kebuli








ingredients:


300 g rice, washed
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
150 g chicken, cut into pieces
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 whole cloves
1 whole cardamom
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
1 stalk lemongrass, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
450 ml of water
fried onions for topping
Spices:

2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cm ginger
1 cm galangal
5 grains of red onion
2 cloves garlic
How to make:

  Heat the vegetable oil, saute ground spices until fragrant.
  Enter the chicken pieces, stir until it changes color.
  Add nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon powder, lemon grass, salt, and water.
  Enter the rice, stir until the water absorbed.
  Pour into a heat resistant dish, steamed for 20 minutes until cooked completely.
  Remove and serve warm with a sprinkling of fried onions on top.
