Gethuk Cheese, Traditional But Modern

Gethuk is a traditional food masuh much-loved. Modified with a touch of cheese, definitely more savory.


Ingredients

1000 grams of cassava
200 grams sugar
50 gr margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla
Half old half coconut, grated, steamed
150 g cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon of food coloring, color according to taste
1 tsp chocolate pasta
100 gr grated cheddar cheese, for topping

How to Make:

1. Cassava peel, wash and steam until cooked. Remove and puree. Discard the fibers.

2. Beat in sugar, margarim, salt and vanilla, stirring until blended. Enter the grated coconut and cheese, stir again. Divide the dough into two, give a red dye, the rest is mixed with chocolate pasta.

3. Put it in a special mill gethuk lindri, cut into 6 cm or as needed. Pinch up to slightly swell. Repeat until the dough runs out.

4. Serve on a serving plate, sprinkle with cheese. Completed.
